Katie Steele, LMFT, RYT

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, as well as a Registered Yoga Instructor. While in graduate school I completed my yoga teacher training. Combining movement and talk therapy was a natural blend to me. I have worked in a variety of settings including: outpatient therapy clinics, community based treatment programs, emergency departments, an acute psychiatric hospital and fitness and yoga studios.

I grew up in an active family and went on to compete in cross country and track and field for the University of Oregon and Florida State University.  My best processing is done when I am moving my body.  When I am exercising I  have heightened clarity and an increase in my ability to reflect and problem solve. It is crucial to utilize this time of clarity to explore thoughts and feelings.

I hope to partner with you to create a vibrant session that fosters a zest for life and encourages a happier, healthier, more conscious you!

Hi! Thrive Bend was created from two of my passions: personal growth and exercise. I believe we reach our full potential when we incorporate  mind and body practice into daily living.

Kamie Ober, LPC

I want to hear you and know you. I want judgment to stay out of the room. I want to help you move through life and whatever you are facing with compassion and grace toward your desired outcome. I believe that we all struggle and our struggles look different and come at different times, and no struggle is worse than another, they are simply different. You are coming in for a reason and I want to explore with you what that reason is, and look at what you need to move you forward. We will then develop a plan that supports your individual needs.

I have immense experience working with a high acuity population. In those settings, I have supported clients in redirecting unhealthy thought patterns, increase insight to better understand their experience while developing their sense of identity.

I specialize in working with adolescents and adults through life transitions, decreasing depression, anxiety and increasing fulfillment in your life. My primary hope is to accompany you to finding your passion and purpose.

Thrive Online is designed to shift to utilizing therapy as a preventative measure versus solely for repair. What we know, with certainty, is that all couples have times of struggle. This is a program designed to stay ahead of the hurts and enhance your connection and communication.
